I knew it was a Vera Bradley bag. I knew. I had just been searching online for backpacks -- my unfulfilled wish for a year -- and I had fallen desperately in love. Its folds had me swooning and that sack was all I cared for.

When I decide to shop, all options are open. And online shopping sites bring the world of merchandise to your device and eventually doorstep. So I shall correct my first sentence here and say that when I decide to shop, all windows (sic) are open. I usually go to sites that offer the widest range of goods and begin hunting. This time, I wanted an awesome and fabulously looking backpack.

Scrolling through pages and pages of bags, I spot one with some promise. The size and color is ok. It'll do, I say to myself and let the link open in a new tab. The bag is nice looking. Smooth and handy, with sufficient number of pockets. Hmmm. Not leather but polyurethane. That should make it water-resistant I guess. Yeah, i'll check out the reviews now, I decide. Zippers are coming off too soon! The bag was tearing at the seams and my heart. Sob!

Next please.

Scroll. scroll. Scroll. Ahh! Me likes what me sees. Its right there, the my type of bag. Classy and chic. That color that is famous on dalmations, dementors and Angelina Jolie. Perfectly placed zippers with a calm demeanor to it. And I picture myself signing autographs with one hand while my other wrist carries this glamorous piece for all to see. Oh yes, I will tell you which brand it is, I tell my fans. They are crazy about me, aren't they!

Did I forget to tell you that I am doing all my shopping sitting here in office (sometimes there isn't much work, and other times I am so damn bored).

It's not so easy to tame this monster raging inside me now. A great bag I must see. And sometimes, you know, I will never understand, how do such immensely glorious finds end up on the sixth or seventh page of websites.

I have landed on the eighth now. And I have lost my sense of speech. I just can't describe how it feels. Second row, third column, and it sits there looking at me. Those two big cute front pockets and the head folded on top. The bittersweet chocolate melting my heart.

Vera Bradley has designed this gorgeous triumph and it took my breath away. Well, so did the price. This buyer was totally out of pennies. I gazed at it till my eyes hurt and closed the window.

My usual visit to the dailymail website:

I like Emma Stone and this headline said she is acting in a new TV series. Click! The link opens to show her smoking, while acting her part, and wearing brownish yellow hues. In one picture, she has turned away and slung on her shoulders, my very own Vera Bradley.
